Bottega Quattro Flash Mob: Catwalk on the Crosswalk

BOTTEGA QUATTRO _ FIRENZE _ PITTI IMMAGINE UOMO 2012 from the video design company on Vimeo.

With highlights of Italian fashion including Pitti Uomo (a personal favorite, with all those gorgeous Gosling-esque men dressed to the nines!), Florence is clearly undergoing a fabulous and fashionable (second) Renaissance. A cool example was the surprise fashion show on one of the city’s busiest streets put on by Bottega Quattro last Wednesday evening. All was quiet, and then, bam!  A flash mob of eight models turned the crosswalk into a sexy Florentine catwalk. (Talk about street style!) Catching everyone nearby off-guard, they managed to pull off one hell of a shock and awe campaign (kinda like the feeling you get after seeing a colorful Versace show).

The show was created by Win Effect Firenze and famed Italian designer Daniele Fiesoli— a brainchild of Gabriele Cintolo with special assistance from prominent socialite Krista Corso.  The event was a smashing success and caused a major stir in the city. The crosswalk runway show was followed by a party at the Bottega Quattro boutique packed with Florence’s most beautiful people, with music provided by DJ Marco Fullone of Radio Monte Carlo and Wendy D. Lewis.
