Sephora Collection Instant Nail Polish Remover

I’m complete nail polish addict – no scratch that – I’m a complete nail polish hoarder! I have a sickening amount of shades and yet am constantly finding new ones that tempt my fancy (I’m kind of foaming at the mouth looking at this). Needless to say I change my polish about every 3-4 days. It’s not the actual polish application that I mind because a new color always brings some level of excitement, but I dread the process of taking polish off. The smell, the cotton ball residue, the drying effect on nails….uch…it’s especially bad when I’m dealing with glitter polish (I have a weak spot for Deborah Lippmann). I’ve tried natural removers as well as ones that don’t have a noxious smell, but have yet to find one that’s effective. While  Sephora Collection’s new Instant Nail Polish Remover ($11) does smell bad (or at least as bad as your run-of-the-mill remover), it’s a million times more convenient than removing polish the regular way. Basically it’s a jar with a polish remover-soaked sponge inside. The sponge has a hole and you just stick your finger in it for a few seconds and voila!

I used this to remove glitter polish and while it did take a bit longer (and a little bit of scratching since the remover can’t actually dissolve glitter), it was faster and easier than using a cotton ball. Plus this product is paraben and sulfate-free so it’s won’t damage your nails and it’s spill-proof making it perfect for travel. This is def one of my favorite finds in the last few months!
