Lanvin Pom Pom Ballet Slipper: Tiny Dancer

Okay, so I know Lanvin ballet flats for someone who will hardly appreciate them are utterly ridiculous. And you won’t see them on my girls. (I save the Lanvin for myself, thankyouverymuch!). But…how cute are these ballerina slippers?!

With a dusty-rose hue and an oversized pom pom of super-elegant tulle for a truly antique feel, these look like something you would find in a beautiful Paris boutique at the turn of the twentieth century. Or even better, a pair of slippers worn by one of Impressionist-painter Edgar Degas’ little dancers. When it comes to tot footwear, it doesn’t get more romantic than this. But I’m content to leave them to the realm of whimsical romance – these are almost too enchanting for real life. At Barneys New York for $390.
