At first, French maid costumes and courtesan boudoirs came to mind, and not in a chic way. Campy, sure, but a little too cutesy. That is, until these diamond-buckled, mesh cuffs are strapped across the ankle: hello, sexy! These are made to flirt and seduce. They are also made with Charlotte’s smarts; the cuffs are totally separate from the shoe and thoroughly optional. Two pumps in one!
In bubblegum-pink with gleaming gold platforms, along with frills and sparkle, it doesn’t take a detective to know these are for the girliest of fembots. Which is why I would like to see these pretty pumps on a harder-edged snob, one who can strengthen them up a bit, with say, a dark-as-night manicure and a healthy helping of leather.
