Spring 2013 NYFW Beauty Recap Part V

And it’s a wrap! Here’s a look at the last of our NYFW beauty roundups.

Michael Kors: One of my favorite collections this season, I love the graphic Pop Art Sixties eye that was created for the show. It works well against the models’ skin and with the natural lip (Shiseido Perfect Rouge in Vision was used).

Vera Wang: This is the kind of hair look that makes me feel bad for models! Can you imagine dealing with your hair after this? The goal according, Paul Hanlon for Frédéric Fekkai, was to make the hair look more like “a fabric rather than hair.”

Marchesa: This season brought a lot of cornrow-style braids. The best were done at Marchesa where they resulted in a fairytale-style hair look created by the Frédéric Fekkai team.

Rachel Zoe: Leave it to Rachel Zoe to create a look most of us would love to have – perfectly undone tousled hair. The style was created by Odile Gilbert for Kérastase using three key products: Volumactive, Fiber Architecte, and Double Force.
