Sothys Paris Body Elixir

I don’t tend to like oils…just not my kind of texture. The only times I’m a fan is when I’m getting a massage and even then I don’t really love the post oil feel. I got a sample of Sothys Paris Body Elixir ($45) however and decided to give it a try…I mean why not if I have a sample… Unlike most oils this won’t leave you feeling…..oily. In fact if it didn’t say oil I would have said this was a super lightweight moisturizer. It’s a dry oil spray (unlike  most oils which I’ve tried which come out via a pump), and it absorbs quickly because of its fine texture. Better yet it doesn’t leave you too shiny even though it’s working to moisturize your skin. It comes in five scents: Cherry blossom & Lotus, Cinnamon & Ginger,
Lemon & Petitgrain, Orange blossom & Cedar, and Vanilla & Sandalwood. It’s a good refresher throughout the day or if you’re taking a shower at the gym and want to hydrate in pinch before getting dressed. I wouldn’t however recommend it for anyone with seriously dry skin as it won’t provide intensive moisture.
