If you know me, you know I love a good messenger bag. If you really know me, then you know when I find a pair of really good ones, I can’t help but sing their praises. Tila March has delivered super-functional messengers with a price that’s nice. You always (no matter what you already own!) need a throw-around bag that still looks great when you dress it up, and the Nina and Ella sisters fit the bill.
The Ella messenger ($775) allows a pop of clean hardware shine in the spotlight (I love the fact it’s label-neutral and unspecific for maximum versatility), which makes for a fancier vibe. At least compared to the Nina, messenger-camera hybrid ($755) that’s slightly more casual – and, you guessed it – more pleasing to my eye. The outer picket can stay unbuckled, giving it a truly carefree usage. Either way, this is great utility feel for the girl with a purpose. What’s that purpose?
