According to Pantone the color of the year is emerald so, for the second year now, Sephora has partnered with them to build a makeup collection around the color (last year it was tangerine tango). I went to a launch event for it a few weeks ago and – I’m sad to report…there’s no green lipstick! Just kidding…I’m pretty sure I would have been horrified had there been green lipstick!
I’m not a huge fan of green for myself because it’s a very difficult shade to pull off if you have a fair complexion, but if you’ve been to a Sephora store recently you’ve likely noticed that many of the SAs are sporting awesome green cat eyes. I’d never do all emerald on myself, but I can see it looking great layered with a more neutral toned shimmer shade and I love these nail lacquers
