Best Dressed at the 2013 Emmys: Award-Worthy Style

Best Dressed at the Emmys

Julie Bowen
She really wowed with this sweeping Zac Pozen. The over-the-top look is not what we expect from her which makes it that much more exciting. Plus she looked like she was having fun with it which always makes it look more grand.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus
I just love her and am so happy for her win. If you have not seen VEEP you are missing the funniest show on TV. Her acceptance speech bit with Tony Hale was the best moment of the Emmys. So yes, this is a sentimental favorite but the Monique Lhuillier shimmering column is a classic and she looks great in it.

Kerry Washington
We are used to her being so severe and serious on Scandal, but by the way she is pulling off what is essentially a fairy costume shows that she is truly a feminine goddess.

Julianna Margulies
The simplicity is what is so striking. No jewels, relaxed hair and minimal makeup in a dress that may not be dressy enough for the occasion is actually quite risky, but it worked. She stood out, exuding sophistication and style because she owned it. The graphic vine print on this Reed Krakoff is nothing short of genius.

Heidi Klum
The halter worked only because her neck is so freaking long! There was caustic debate surrounding this Versace – it was hate or love, no in-betweeners, but as always she showed moxy and at the end of the day, that’s what it is all about.

Emilia Clarke
Most celebrities played it safe, as is this Donna Karan, but it is just so beautiful, and that metal belt heightened it from just another pretty dress to one fit for a Khaleesi.
