BOYY Samuel Leather Clutch Bag: Winter of Sam

BOYY Samuel Leather Clutch Bag

A clutch for evening, a pouch for day, and an organizer for your tote when you need a larger bag: these types of bags are the ones that always land at the top of my list. And once I start using them, I can’t stop. BOYY’s Samuel bag is on the larger size, bigger than wallet scale, which makes it an ideal daytime clutch. The slim but not flat design (it comes in at just over an inch in diameter) features an internal zip pocket for your valuables and an outer slide pocket for various tickets and miscellaneous stuff.

The compartments are great, but the genius is in the deceptively basic yet striking design, and that’s what really makes me want to have this on hand, pronto. The clean symmetry of nappa leather punctuated with just a touch of suede works because it’s effortlessly eye-catching. The ivory version with a bit of zebra print peeking out of the top makes for just enough of an accent, without turning the look entirely wild with attitude. Even the tonal red is luscious and dreamy, gorgeous in its strength and simplicity. Both are equally perfect for the season. Don’t forget: a winter white with animal print should always be in your repertoire for fall! BOYY Samuel clutch at Bergdorf Goodman for $750.

Pair with: For longer days, toss this into Moreau’s Bregançon tote in lush granite taurillon leather. At Barneys New York for $2,890.
