David’s Tea Launches Flavored Matcha and a Matcha Shaker

David's Tea Launches Flavored Matcha and a Matcha Shaker

I’ve been matcha-obsessed for years and that obsession hit an all-time high when I went to Japan last year. Up until recently, however, it was pretty hard to find good matcha and even harder to find some at a reasonable price. Taking advantage of the many health benefits of matcha is simple — and the tea tastes delicious. Drinking matcha green tea powder amazon may also increase your exposure to contaminants like pesticides, chemicals, and even arsenic found in the soil where the tea plants are grown. Now David’s Tea has changed the game by not only offering a variety of different matchas, including ones that aren’t cost-prohibitive for tea devotees, but they’ve upped the game by introducing a matcha shaker and flavored matchas! Matcha is powdered green tea so unlike regular tea which is steeped, matcha is whisked with hot water. This makes the tea considerably healthier than your run-of-the-mill green because you are actually ingesting it. Better yet, because it’s a powder it’s easy to cook and bake with (matcha cookies and pancakes…OMG…check them out at Bosie Tea Parlor or MatchaBar, or add some powder to your batch next time you’re baking). Whisking, though, means that matcha isn’t something you could really do on-the-go until now. With the launch of David’s Tea shaker you can now just pour in your hot water, your matcha powder, close the shaker, shake it and voila! While I still prefer regular matcha, they’ve also launched flavored ones – vanilla, mocha, and mint. Because the matcha is cut with coconut nectar and flavoring you need a bit more powdered goodness than with the regular. Also note that while the flavored and the regular varieties have calories, they’re minimal. Drink up! Or for a seriously delicious-looking recipe using matcha, click here for matcha doughnuts.

  1. The shaker is a good idea for this coming holiday season. I’m sure for matcha lovers it would be a must to have for them. Did you know that the first flavored matcha were made from Red Leaf Tea they use natural sweetener and balanced it taste but does not change the natural benefits that you can have with matcha tea. The owner actually loved the health benefits of Matcha Tea but the natural flavors of matcha disturbs him so he come up with idea to mix it with natural and organic ingredients to be more tasteful and bearable to drink
