Come summertime I either need an itty-bitty bag like a wallet on a chain or something more substantial for fun, warm weather outings like this great satchel from Derek Lam. It reminds me of a tackle box, except I would actually use this (I don’t go fishing; I have more fun ways to be bored). This is a bit like the Givenchy Pandora in that the entire bag is up front and the back is flush against your body. There is no forward pitch here, though, since the straps attach directly on top. I love that the zipper opens up to a cavernous opening big enough for practically everything, and the front pocket houses smaller items that may otherwise get lost.
