Fitspiration: Get Inspired by Lena Dunham

Am I the only one who isn’t always inspired by fitspiration posts? I’m devoted to my workouts and have been religious about my daily exercise routine for years, but there’s nothing quite like seeing a nearly naked woman sprawled out in her sports bra and short shorts to make me want to reach for a doughnut. So, at the risk of sounding cheesy, I’m completely in awe of Lena Dunham’s recent workout posts. She’s snapped a few at Tracy Anderson’s Tribeca studio – raw, un-Photoshopped and with completely inspiring captions. Above is the most recent one under which she wrote, “Late to @tracyandersonmethod & forgot my workout clothes so had to snag a size large bra and size small pants (wrong in myriad ways.) But do we soldier on? Yes, yes we do because we want to be a strong & happy lady #largebrasmallpantscantlose.” She’s also written about how working out has helped with her depression issues (“To those struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression: I know it’s mad annoying when people tell you to exercise, and it took me about 16 medicated years to listen. I’m glad I did. It ain’t about the ass, it’s about the brain. Thank you @tracyandersonmethod for showing me the light”).

If that’s not inspiring, I don’t know what is!
