Litehouse Foods: Nosh Healthy Memorial Weekend

Litehouse Foods

We’re about to fall face first into BBQ season and while there are plenty of healthy options to be had (veggie skewers, grilled watermelon, and grilled salmon), things can get really bad, really quick when you add condiments. The easiest way is to opt for seasonings instead of sauces, dressings, and dips, but I realize not everyone can do that. For an alternative that won’t break the bank, check out Litehouse Foods. They make salad dressings, veggie dips, sauces, herbs, blue cheese, caramel dips, fruit dips, glazes and fresh-pressed apple cider all in the US without MSG or preservatives. Their website also has a ton of recipes, along with really delicious, portion-controlled, ready-made products like Chocolate Dip.

Cucumber Dill Sandwiches
Ranch Chicken Salad Croissants
Smoked Salmon and Blue Cheese Canapés

Are there healthier packaged condiments out there? Yes, if you go the raw vegan route, for sure (you’ll especially want to watch out for the sodium level in Litehouse products), but for a cost-effective option you can confidently use, especially when entertaining, I think they’re great! Bring on the veggie burgers!
