Cameron Diaz x Bottega Veneta Luggage

Her choice in men may be questionable–Alex Rodriguez? Seriously?–but the same can definitely not be said for her choice of luggage. Cameron Diaz was spotted over the weekend at LAX looking her typical downtown relaxed self–flat boots, fitted jeans, comfy sweater–but her accessories were decidedly uptown chic, courtesy Bottega Veneta. I love that she’s sporting matching luggage! Specifically, Cameron is toting the Bottega Veneta intrecciato medium duffel bag on her arm and pulling the matching trolley (FYI both are in the uniform color, although a more travel-friendly brown and black are also available). As someone who travels with matching Goyard or Vuitton luggage, I can definitely appreciate a finely-crafted carry-on piece or two (or, if you’re flying first class, three), so you can imagine my delight in seeing that Cameron isn’t beyond spending part of her million-dollar paychecks on expensive, albeit deserving so, luggage. While the hard-sided trolley, which is smooth all around but with the woven leather on the front, is a great travel piece, the oversized tote could easily double as a day bag or, day I say, the ultimate gym bag. It’s lightweight, has four protective feet and maintains its shape no matter how full or empty you keep it. It also looks, which is always a nice touch. If she’s going to be sporting this luggage every time she flies to meet up with A-Rod, then I’m all for that relationship.

$3,450 (duffel) & $4,350 (trolley), available at Bottega Veneta boutiques

  1. I travel a lot for business, and I keep looking at these Bottega luggage pieces (they are so beautiful), but I cannot justify spending that kind of money on something that is going to get man-handled by icky TSA people, and dirty/scuffed up going through the security checkpoints and on the plane. I stick to the Longchamp nylon which still looks classy, but is much less expensive so at least I won’t have a cow when it gets a smudge on it.

  2. Cameron should be the spokeswoman for BV! She’s athletically gorgeous and has the most magnificent taste in handbags! I love the way she’s rockin’ these BV’s! I would love to be her BFF and inherit one! 😉
